Park In-ro’s Gasa Monument

Nogye Park In-ro’s Gasa Monument in Mugunghwa Garden in Mount Jinjomal in Millak-dong was established by Local Gentry Association on April 6, 2002 with an aim to promote the birth of the national history and Korean literature 410 years after Japanese invasion to Korea in 1592.
A part of Taepyeongsa describing the invasion of Japanese forces and our resistance and triumph during Jeongyujaeran, a Japanese military attack in 1597 (31st year of King Seonjo), was written on the front side of the monument, and the purpose of the erection of Park In-ro’s Gasa Monument was indicated on its back side.
The monument is 1.5 meters in width and 2.5 meters in height.
