Okryeonseonwon Buddhist Temple (Traditional Buddhist Temple No. 28)

Okryeonseonwon Buddhist Temple is located in a sunny place at the foot of southern Mount Baeksan. It was founded as Baeksansa Buddhist Temple by Great Master Wonhyo in 600 A.D. (10th year of King Munmu). As a time-honored Buddhist temple where Goun Chi-weon Choi lived in seclusion to practice Zen meditation in 910 A.D. (9th year of King Seongdeok), it was re-established in January 1, 1604. In 1635 (13th year of King Injo), Haeunseonsa Buddhist Temple was renamed as Okryeonam Buddhist Temple, and the inner temple was established in 1976 to rename it as Okryeonseonwon Buddhist Temple.
Okryeonseonwon Buddhist Temple that was designated as Traditional Buddhist Temple No. 28 on October 17, 1998 has Buddha Statue and Stone Buddha Statue in addition to 'Seated Rock-carved Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, ' Busan Metropolitan City Cultural Property Material No. 7.

If you go 200 meters in the direction of Haeundae along Gwangnam-ro from MBC Broadcasting Company (Local Road No. 30) and go 350 meters along the left hand road, you would be able to find it. (58, Gwangnam-ro 257 beon-gil, Suyeong-gu)
