Maejijang Seated Buddha Statue

At the place of Okyeonseonwon today, there formerly was the Baeksansa (temple) since the Era of Three-Country. This Maebul is presumed to have been constructed at that time. The style of the carving is delicate and has an elaborate lined type, however its original form is not identifiable due to severe wear and tear. There is another legend that goes wherein the stone was reversed and positioned as seen in today's position by thunder.
