As a character that represents the refreshing Gwangalli open sea of Suyeong-gu and blueness of Mt. Geumnyeon, shape of the head symbolizes the Gwangalli sea wave and Geumryeon Mountain. "S/Y" in the chest was intended to represent "Suyeong". The body gesture and facial expression of the character show the happy image of residents living in beautiful Suyeong-gu which was selected as the number 1 city in residential satisfaction. The character also symbolizes an international marine tourism city that gladly and intimately greets its tourists.
