Gwangalli Eobang Festival (April)
Every April, at the beginning of the cherry blossom season, a Huge festival encompassing the Namcheon cherry blossom complex, Gwangalli beach, and Millakdong, sushi town is held. During the festival, you can enjoy about 20 different events such as the cherry blossom festival, live fish festival, folk festival, culture and art festival and more.

This, as one of the representative spring festivals of Busan, attracts not only residents of Busan, but also many tourists from all over the country. There is a lot to do! You may take a stroll under the cherry blossom trees with the sea for a background, or you can satisfy your appetite in one of the 300 sushi restaurants in the area.

At night, you can enjoy the spectacular beach view or a high-level cultural art performance at the Gwangalli Cafe Street.
Suyeong Traditional Daljipnori on the 15th of the New Year(January)
On the 15th of the New year according to the lunar calendar, one of Korea¡¯s traditional festivals called Daljipnori is held at Gwangalli beach.

During the day, there are many family events that take place such as Daljip(moon house) burning, Ganggangsuwolrae, Gwibulnori, kite-flying for blowing away misfortunes, and many more!
Suyeong Traditional Folk Festival(June)
The Suyeong Traditional Folk Festival includes a variety of traditional folk plays such as SuyeongYaryu, which has been designated a cultural asset, Suyeong Nongcheong -nori, Jwasuyeong eobang-nori, and so on.

It is held at the Suyeong Folk Art Open Theater every June. During the summer vacation season, Jwasuyeong eobang-nori is performed on the Gwangalli beach.
